We process your data solely on the basis of the contract entered into with you or on the basis of your consent.

The purpose of processing is to be able to properly display our website and offer you its content and services.

Specifically, your data may be processed as follows:

1. Use of the Website for purely informational purposes

When using our Website for purely informational purposes, you generally do not need to provide us with any information. We collect and use only that data which is transmitted to us automatically through your browser, such as

  1.  date and time that you access one of our Website pages;
  2. type and settings of your browser;
  3. your operating system;
  4. the web page you last visited;
  5. your IP address.

When you visit our Website for purely informational purposes, we collect this data in non-personal form to enable you to use the web pages you have accessed, to improve the functionality of our Website and for statistical purposes. The IP address is stored only for the duration of your visit. Personal data is not analysed.

2. Newsletters

For the latest news and information about us and our products you can subscribe to one of our e-newletters: We use a double opt-in process which requires you to separately confirm your consent to receiving the above information by clicking on a link in a confirmation e-mail sent to you for this purpose. This is to ensure that only you, as the holder of the e-mail address provided, can give us your consent to receive the information. Your confirmation must be received as soon as possible after receipt of the confirmation e-mail. Otherwise your e-mail address will be automatically deleted from our database. Once we receive your confirmation, we store your e-mail address until such time as you unsubscribe to the newsletter. Your consent is voluntary and you may revoke it at any time with effect for the future.

3. Application process

Those persons wishing to apply for an opportunity to participate in the F-lane programme may file their applications online. In a three-step online form, the applicant enters a contact e-mail address and contact data for his/her company and provides information on the business strategy and objectives of the company, among other things.

IV. Duration of processing

We process your data only for as long as necessary to provide the Website services. For example, if you have deleted your profile, we usually delete your data as well. The only time this would not be the case is if we are required by law to retain the information, in particular for tax or accounting reasons. In that case, we would erase you data as soon as the relevant retention periods expire.

V. Data transfer to third parties, transfer to third countries

Data will only be transferred to third parties if you have given your express prior consent thereto or if we are entitled or obliged to do so by statute or contract or if we are obliged to do so by judicial or administrative order. It may be necessary to transfer data if we commission companies, such as technical service providers, with the execution of corresponding services. In such case, data protection agreements are in place to justify such transfer.

As a rule, your data will not be transferred to any third country outside the European Union or the European Economic Area or to any international organisation. If in the exceptional case such a transfer does take place, it will be solely in accordance with legal requirements, particularly in terms of the existence of an adequacy decision by the EU Commission or applying appropriate or suitable safeguards. The latter are available from our data protection officer.
